About

This project came into being due to my collecting activity in 2014/2015 when I started to systematically
evaluate auction data on my collection area. By learning several programming languages, larger data sets
emerged over time in various areas ofnumismatics and art. Since I am convinced that just at the beginning
of the collecting activity a rough overview over the area of interest is essential and can help immensely with
research and determination, I decided to share parts of the databases as online available catalogs.
In addition to extensive software and sources, these catalogs are publicly available on this page.
The focus is on providing an overview. Almost all catalogs contain the work of more
or less common specialist literature. By giving references in the areas of literature, trade,
finds etc. the opportunity for further research should be given.
